I strive to find what photographers call the sweet light. Unfortunately sweet light occurs during times of the day when babies and toddlers are not usually sweet themselves. LOL There is always the exception though! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this family 3? 4? times? Miss. G. is gorgeous inside and out. She was such fun and I think we bonded as she loved holding my hand and sitting in my lap. =) What a sweetie! Even more exciting is Miss G. is going to be a big sister in June so we will be seeing another beautiful baby from this family very soon.

I know Mom has been patiently waiting for her sneak peek. Hope she loves them as much as I do.

I had date yesterday morning with a handsome 6 month old in Rittenhouse Square. He was all smiles and up for adventure. He is playmates with the birthday boy in the city featured last week on the blog. Aren’t I the lucky one to meet such handsome boys? This little guy amazed me with his brilliant eyes a few months ago, I think they have gotten even more beautiful. Amazing!

I shot my first wedding of the ‘09 season yesterday. It could not have been a more beautiful day for the happy couple. It was lovely outdoor wedding at Core Creek Park in Bucks County. I was assisting my friend, Beth who seriously rocks the weddings. I just wanted to share a couple of my favorites, I will post more later this week but I have a busy weekend photographing babies in this warm weather.

…Introducing the Beautiful Baby Contest 2009

This is your chance to have a session with Beautiful Babies and More that you have been wanting!

Any baby ages 6-36 months whose family have not been a client of Beautiful Babies and More Photography are eligible to enter the contest. All you have to do is email a recent snapshot (no professional or studio photos, please) to Michelle.Lindenmuth@gmail.com by the end of the day Sunday May 3rd. All entries need to include the child’s name, birth date, a valid email and phone number to contact the parents/guardians. (Personal info will not be included on the blog.)

I must receive all the photo entries by May 3rd at midnight. I will put the photo entries up on the blog starting May 5th for voting. You will be able to call on all your family and friends to vote for your little one. Voting will close May 11th at midnight.

What’s the prize?
Well the winning child will receive a photo session and print package
(to share with their parents of course. =). Value $365

By entering the contest you must be agree to sign a model release for your child to appear on the blog and website for Beautiful Babies and More. The winning photo session must be scheduled in the month of June. This is non-transferable and must be the winning child in the photo session. Photo session will be held locally at an outdoor location of my choice (if you are not from the Philadelphia area you are welcome to enter but the session will take place here). Twins and multiples can enter together, siblings must enter separately.

Wait I’m a client and I’m not eligible!
Well no, clients of Beautiful Babies and More are not eligible (neither is my family or children of professional photographers). However if you referred the child’s parents to my blog and they win you too will receive a goodie! (and I promise it’s a good-goodie!) So make sure your friends and family tell me you sent them here.

It’s hard to believe with weather like today that Saturday was a beautiful day.  Anyone else get completely spoiled with those 48 ish hours of warm sun?   I had a completely enjoyable session on Saturday evening with this Birthday Boy who just turned 1!  I haven’t seen him since I did his newborn photos when he was less than a week old.  He’s grown into a handsome boy with an adorable personality.  I also have to mention how FAST he is, he doesn’t walk quite yet, but why would he need to when he crawls faster than I can run.   He kept me on my toes as we walked around the city.  I hope Mom and Dad enjoy their sneak peek of the photos.
