I had the pleasure of meeting the H. family this weekend. Mr. A. was so sweet and I believe enjoyed showing off for me. I especially liked his cool batman moves!

As I sit here posting to my blog, I’m thinking dry thoughts for the wedding we are photographing this evening at Rockwood Museum.   So if you are reading this today think dry thoughts for us!

However before we are onto tonight’s festivities I want to share a few favorites from last night’s photo session in the city.  I really love when Mom’s who are expecting contact me for a photo session for themselves and their children.  It is nice to capture the time when they are still an only child and the interaction between them and their parents before baby brother (or sister) is introduced.  Last night, Little J. was super cute and was showing off his smiles.  Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks for having me out!

I am showing off some fun photos from a maternity photo session in the city last night. Mommy is expecting #2 very soon and Mr. C is very excited to be a big brother. I believe he said he is hoping for a sister but it’s a surprise for now. I’m sure he will be a very good big brother. =) I have so many favorites from this session I had a hard time picking just a few for the sneak peek. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Mr. C. liked to strike many poses. Seriously I haven’t met many 2-somethings who like to pose and show off in front of my camera as this guy did.

The other member of the family, Franklin. Mr. C. lovingly called him his best friend. He was also a camera hog. haha! I had to show him, too.

Have I mentioned that I love to see my littlest clients grow up? I had the pleasure of seeing Mr. R. today whom I’ve haven’t photographed since his newborn photos and he is now over 2 years old and is about to be a big brother. So glad to see him and Mom again today! Well it was a maternity session for Mom gifted to her by a friend however Mr. R. was probably the star of the show and stole the spotlight for sure. =) It was great fun hanging out and I can’t wait to meet the newest member of their family in a few weeks.

I had to share these, Miss Lola the Pug is another star. She first made an appearance in the family’s maternity photos. She’s a sweetie.

Mr. R. might be some competition for me in the future. He sure loved that camera and really wanted to take the lead.

Around town.

As a Mom of two energetic boys I know that if there is a mud puddle to be found — it will be. Don’t you love this guilty look? (even though the photographer lady told him to jump in =)

This family is adding another little one,  soon to be a party of five. I can not wait to meet Miss S.’s and Mr. D.’s newest little sibling.  I’m glad we got to take some photos of the beautiful Mama before the day arrives. She was glowing and the soon to be big brother and sister were delightful as always. Here’s a sneak peek,  this is a fun session to work on.
