and out like a lamb. Starting off March with a somewhat warmer day so hopefully that is a good sign for the month of March. I am not going to jinx anything by saying any more than that. However it was warm enough to take a stroll with some adorable little people in the city. I had the pleasure of photographing Miss E. again and meeting her little brother yesterday.

Miss E. has grown so much since I have seen her last. She used to be a little apprehensive when I would visit. Mom and I would have to work hard for her to show me her beautiful personality. However yesterday she was all about showing off and flashing me an awesome grin.

What better way to end the session than to have your big sister read you a book?

Thanks for reading!

Michelle

are the days where dancing is necessary.

A super sneak peek of Miss J.’s 7th birthday photos, I know she will want to see more on the blog and I will post more when we return from vacation.

Enjoy!

On the 6th Day of Christmas

December 18, 2009

my photographer gave to me… two handsome boys!

Photographed last week, I loved the interaction between the boys playing outside. Despite the chilly temps they had fun running it off.

I think we all feel this way sometimes when Mom puts us in our Sunday best clothes… =)

Usually the children I feature on my blog aren’t even aware they are or even know what a blog is all about. However, when I photograph older children they want to see themselves on the blog and it seemed almost cruel to make them wait any longer. So here is your sneak peek — Miss K.!!!
I love these girls, gorgeous inside and out. =)

Yesterday I met some lovely children at one of my favorite clients homes. These children have all been friends for several years and I enjoyed photographing them together. Thank you so much to my awesome friend Beth for being a second pair of hands not to mention a silly gal willing to do what it takes to keep them happy. =)

Mr. R. has been on the blog several times. He is such a smart guy and I love he is happy to see me when I come to photograph him.

I am often asked what is the hardest part of photographing children. Each age I capture has their hard and easy points; some ages can be a tad more challenging than others. New walkers for instance love their independence, love to be free and explore their curiosity. However getting them to look up can be the challenge, as with most new learned skills they are concentrating on perfecting that skill and with walking comes a lot of looking down, to see where they are going, to check out what’s ahead. =) This adorable 15 month old just wanted to be free, run and explore the children’s garden at Longwood. Of course when she would occasionally look up and I caught those beautiful blue eyes, it was worth all the running around.

It was great meeting you B. family, enjoy your sneak peek!

When I arrived at Mr. D.’s house he had just awoken from nap, well us Mom’s know how that can go. However, after some warm up time with silly antics from Mom and Dad he was laughing in no time. It was so nice to see you all again, enjoy your sneak peek!
