We returned from our Disney vacation to mountains of snow — what is up with that? I can not complain about missing two major snow storms while we played away in sunny Florida and of course I have to share a few images from our wonderful family vacation.

Yes, it was warm enough to swim!

Disney World is truly a magical place…

where else can you be a pirate and fight the swashbucklers with swords?

or train to be a Jedi and face the evil Darth Vadar?

where the mouse is the biggest cheese in town…

and where every handsome prince gets a kiss from his favorite princess…

I am back to catching up on emails and voice mails (not to mention shoveling!!!)

to warmer climate. =) We will be out of the office February 3rd – February 10th and will catch up with all emails and voice mails on February 11th.

For those of you in need of warmer climate, may I suggest a trip to Longwood Garden’s Conservatory? It’s perfectly warm and lovely this time of year. I had an opportunity last week to stop and smell (or photograph) the flowers.

The kids are back in school, the tree is down, the presents are all put away, the cookies are eaten (sigh!) and I am working through the emails and orders received over the holiday break. Happy New Year all!!!

I’m so excited for 2010 happenings here at Beautiful Babies and More! We have two spots open for January sessions and only a couple open for February since we will be closed February 1-12. If you are expecting a baby in the next couple months please call/email and get pre-scheduled for a newborn photo session. Beautiful Babies and More is already “expecting” 7 babies in the winter of 2010, we have room for more but please do not wait until the last minute to contact us.

It would not be a blog post without a photo share so here are my two boys enjoying the spoils of what Santa delivered.

Well things ran a bit later than usual this year (and I admit sad defeat with my blog posting). The wee bit of snow (wink) we got pushed back our closing to accommodate some late orders and shipping to clients. However we are ready for the break!

my photographer gave to me – a sweet newborn girl.

Yes, I have been slacking on my 12 Days posts. We are incredibly busy here getting card orders, print orders (did I mention card orders?) processed and printed for holiday orders. We have printed just over 2,000 client cards this year. That is a record for Beautiful Babies and More this year. I love seeing all the beautiful cards coming in (and out =) It has been a busy, wonderful season. Thank you to everyone who are still inquiring about sessions this year, however we are no longer booking any sessions for 2009. I am trying my best to respond to all inquires in a timely manner but if you are reading this please note we are now booking for January 16, 2010 and later. We only have 4 spots left for January sessions and very few for February.

Beautiful Babies and More is closed December 21-January 5, 2010 (emails or calls will be returned on January 5th) and then closed again February 1-12, 2010.

In trying to get caught up on blog posts so to speak, I need to post this precious baby girl I photographed a couple weeks ago. So sweet and loved by her family!

Back to school, back to work and the weather is lovely! Is Fall almost here? I will busy this week returning the emails and calls from my vacation last week. The fall photo session season is definitely here and so glad many of my clients are booking now. Weekends are going fast and we are booking October and November!

All holiday photo sessions must be scheduled prior to November 29th, card orders placed by December 5th and print orders by December 11th. This holiday time line is to ensure you receive your card and print orders in plenty of time for mailing for the holidays. I sent a reminder to everyone on our mailing list about fall photo sessions and I hope to hear from you soon!

It would not be a good blog post without some photos. Miss. G came into the world just about two weeks ago. Isn’t she sweet? Here is a sneak peek for Mom and Dad who already think she is the sweetest thing in the world.

Mom and Dad are obviously Yankee’s fans, the hat’s a little big but she will grow into it soon enough.
