I had the pleasure of meeting the H. family this weekend. Mr. A. was so sweet and I believe enjoyed showing off for me. I especially liked his cool batman moves!

Enjoy your sneak peek! It was great meeting you all.

When I arrived at Mr. D.’s house he had just awoken from nap, well us Mom’s know how that can go. However, after some warm up time with silly antics from Mom and Dad he was laughing in no time. It was so nice to see you all again, enjoy your sneak peek!

So amazing! Mr. Big Eyes came back to see me for his 1 year old photo session. Remember him at 6 months? This time he amazed me with his wonderful personality at Washington Square in Center City Philadelphia. Thank you so much for having me out again and enjoy your sneak peek!

As I sit here posting to my blog, I’m thinking dry thoughts for the wedding we are photographing this evening at Rockwood Museum.   So if you are reading this today think dry thoughts for us!

However before we are onto tonight’s festivities I want to share a few favorites from last night’s photo session in the city.  I really love when Mom’s who are expecting contact me for a photo session for themselves and their children.  It is nice to capture the time when they are still an only child and the interaction between them and their parents before baby brother (or sister) is introduced.  Last night, Little J. was super cute and was showing off his smiles.  Enjoy your sneak peek and thanks for having me out!

Whew! I photographed my biggest family to date on Friday. Mom contacted me after winning a gift package I had donated to the Main Line Mothers of Multiples charity auction. I was excited to meet the S. Family at Swarthmore College for a family photo session since Mom and Dad had their wedding photo’s done there. Not to mention, they have not been photographed as a family in a very long time. I love a challenge! Without further ado, here’s a sneak peek from the session, I do think Mom will be very pleased!

Thanks, S. Family — it was a delight meeting you all!

I am showing off some fun photos from a maternity photo session in the city last night. Mommy is expecting #2 very soon and Mr. C is very excited to be a big brother. I believe he said he is hoping for a sister but it’s a surprise for now. I’m sure he will be a very good big brother. =) I have so many favorites from this session I had a hard time picking just a few for the sneak peek. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Gorgeous, right?

Mr. C. liked to strike many poses. Seriously I haven’t met many 2-somethings who like to pose and show off in front of my camera as this guy did.

The other member of the family, Franklin. Mr. C. lovingly called him his best friend. He was also a camera hog. haha! I had to show him, too.

Thanks for a great session. Can not wait to meet the new baby!

I feel like I’m constantly talking about weather on my blog. I swear I’m not Al Roker disguised as a photographer but weather does impact my business often. I love living where the weather changes so much even if it does inconvenience me at times and I subsequently complain. The changing of seasons and weather often recall memories to me. Does this happen to everyone? In the fall when the weather is cooling down and a school bus drives by I feel transported back to high school with football games and band competitions. (yes i’m a proud band geek.) Finally on Thursday I got into my car after a long hot day at the pool and the summer heat of the car made me instantly think of one of my favorite CD’s, XTC’s Skylarking. Takes me back to driving around in the summer with friends in a non air conditioned car singing along to my Skylarking tape. (tapes are those things… oh well i can’t explain it.=) Summer’s Cauldron is one of my favorites from that album, listening to it now on Itunes, my how things have changed. Anyway, that was all my way of saying I’m so glad it’s officially summer, I love the warm weather, the storms and the beautiful summer evening light.

Okay, sorry for the off topic rambling. Sharing a sneak peek of the C. family on the blog today. Great session last week in the evening down in the Historic District around Independence Hall. Dad is a Park Ranger so in addition to just having a nice time strolling around he also shared many facts about the history of the area. (We also got to sneak into the closed off area so I didn’t have to fight off tourists.) Helpful having someone in the know as your client, right? I enjoyed getting to know your family even better. Check out these sweet sisters, they had so many ideas for me and even directed part of the session – fun!
